Friday Photo Finish

One of the laces that I looked forward to seeing the most in New Orleans was Blaine Kern’s Mardi Gras World. A chance to see the brightly colored Mardi Gras floats up close and to learn about the artistry and work that goes into making them was amazing.

that can be easily repaired after a wild night out on the town…

or given a whole new lease on life as a beautiful goddess…

while others made out of fiberglass like this fine feathered fellow, can never change, and when they grow old and worn, they are retired.

Whether their heart is made of styrofoam or fiberglass, they eventually make their way out here to join their friends…
