Madetogether’s Cards Give Back
Aren’t these just the most adorable cards ever? And to top it off, the receiver can plant the card and it becomes the gift that keeps on giving… in plants and flowers. You see the cards are made of handmade paper that contains a mixture of seeds.
Available for sale here, and don’t forget to check out the super cute aprons that they make as well.

Porcelain Beauties
Love these exquisite hand made porcelain beauties by Etsy artist, Raquel Masri. I saw her daughter Sofia Masri’s work at the Renegade Craft Fair last weekend and found Raquel’s work via Sofia’s Etsy shop.

Renegade Craft Fair Loot
So here’s what I got. I didn’t necessarily go with the intention of buying prints, it just sort of ended up that way.
“La Vie en Rose” from Sycamore Street Press. Eva was inspired by the recent movie starring Marion Cotillard to hand draw the rose, which she then turned into this letterpress poster. The level of detail is incredible.
The letterpress sea urchin is from Paperflirt, a local design studio in San Francisco that specializes in letterpress cards and stationery. The orange in it immediately caught my eye. It seems to be a favorite color of mine lately. There was also a blue and green version that I debated getting instead of the orange, but I liked how the orange stripes really popped.
These bird prints are from The Mincing Mockingbird. The top print may be too aptly named… “Too Often Guilty of Suggestibility”. Although I suggested it to myself, so I don’t think that counts. ;) I’m in love with hummingbirds lately and have been trying to capture a decent photo of one, but have yet to catch one close up yet, so I for now I’ll settle for this one.
A set of six 5x7 postcard prints of Annie’s Bears and a set of the 49 Mile Drive from 3 Fish Studios. I loved the fun colors of the 49 Mile Drive prints. Really what’s not to love about a local? The bear prints reminded me of my friend Cheryl who is so nice to comment on here from time to time. She’s in Japan and loves panda bears. These aren’t pandas, but they are bears and those are cherry blossoms!
And last but not least, a set of 10 postcards from The Black Apple of her Milkland series, which I’m just so in love with. Not to mention the fact that it is named after one of my favorite drinks… milk! I know weird, right? It’s true though, I love milk and I love the sweet cast of characters that live in Emily’s Milkland.
I can’t wait to get these all up on my wall together. I’ve got a large print above my TV that has got to go, and these will make a nice replacement, and a nice focal point for inspiration. I’ll be sure to show you a photo once they are all up.

Renegade Craft Fair Recap
I had such a great time at the Renegade Craft Fair over the weekend, and as promised, here are the photos. ![]()
Owly Shadow Puppets- Loved the tongue in cheekiness of these. The large heart on the left says, “I Still Know Which Records Are Mine”.
![]()
The Mincing Mockingbird- Remember her from this post here? Just as cute in person and she was there with the equally creative and funny, The Frantic Meerkat.
![]()
The Poster List- For all your super groovy poster needs.
![]()
Kitty Baby Love- Why should owls get to have all the fun? Why not kitties too? These crayons were so adorable!
![]()
Bread and Badger- The perfect mug for mom or grandma. The design is carved into the glaze on mugs that they get from thrift stores.
![]()
Diana Fayt- One of the best parts of being at the fair was seeing in person the works of people that I’ve been reading about online for so long.
![]()
Sofia Masri- The most intricate and beautiful ceramic jewelry.
![]()
The Black Apple- I’ve written about her here before as well, but these dollies are new and were oh so irresistible!
![]()
Serigraphie Cinqunquatre- Tables full of drool-worthy prints from a Montreal based company run by Alice Jarry and Jason Cantoro. I loved the layers of non sequitur images on each print.
![]()
Ashton Photography + Design- A new favorite photographer.
![]()
Rock Scissor Paper- So many happy notebooks and other fun items.
Tomorrow I’ll show you what I bought.
